What is Apex?

How quickly can I deploy a project?
Most projects can go from repository to a first deployment in a few minutes. The exact build time depends on your framework, dependencies, and deployment configuration.
Which frameworks and runtimes are supported?
Apex is designed for modern JavaScript workloads and common web frameworks. Check the Documentation for the current runtime and framework compatibility matrix before production rollout.
Do I need to manage servers or regions?
No. Apex handles the underlying edge infrastructure, regional routing, and scaling. You configure your application and deployment settings rather than individual servers.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Plan changes are managed from your account billing settings. A plan change applies according to the billing terms shown during the change flow.
What happens when I exceed my included usage?
Usage beyond the included allowance is handled according to your selected plan. Review the current pricing and usage terms before enabling production traffic.
Can I see my usage before the end of the billing period?
Yes. Usage and billing information are available from the dashboard so you can review request volume and plan consumption as traffic changes.

How do I connect a custom domain?
Open project settings, add your domain, and create the DNS record Apex provides. Once the record resolves, domain verification and certificate provisioning complete automatically.
Where is my data stored?
When a project uses persistent storage, you can select its primary data region. Edge caching and request routing can remain globally distributed while persistent data stays in its configured region.
How does Apex handle TLS certificates?
Apex provisions and renews certificates for supported custom domains automatically, so you do not need to manage certificate files manually.
What should I check when a deployment fails?
Start with the build and deployment logs. Common causes include missing dependencies, an incorrect build command, environment variables that are not configured, or runtime-specific build errors.
